The WP Toolkit in cPanel provides a guided interface for deploying WordPress without manual configuration. It handles database creation, core files, and initial settings in a single workflow, making it suitable for both new and existing hosting accounts.

 

Accessing the WP Toolkit

To begin the installation process, you must be logged in to cPanel.

From the main cPanel interface, locate the Domaines section and select WP Toolkit.

The WP Toolkit dashboard displays existing WordPress installations, if any, along with installation and management options.

Managed installations are commonly used on cPanel hosting environments, where WordPress administration is integrated directly into the control panel.

Starting a New WordPress Installation

Inside the WP Toolkit interface, locate the Installations area and click Installer.

Configuring Installation Options

General Settings

  • Leave this field empty to install WordPress at the domain root

Specify the Website title, select an optional plugin or theme set, choose the site language, and select the WordPress version.

Installing the latest available version is recommended unless compatibility requirements dictate otherwise.

Administrator Account Settings

Sous WordPress Administrator, define the login credentials:

  • Choose an administrator username
  • Set a strong password or use the built-in password generator
  • Enter a valid email address for notifications

Database and Update Settings

Database settings and automatic update options are available for advanced users.

In most cases:

  • Default database settings are sufficient

Unless you have a specific requirement, no changes are needed in these sections.

Running the Installation

After reviewing the configuration, faire un clic Installer to start the deployment process.

WP Toolkit displays real-time progress while WordPress files and the database are prepared.

When installation is complete, confirmation is shown along with options to install additional plugins.

Managing the New WordPress Site

Once installed, le WordPress site appears in the WP Toolkit list. From there, you can:

  • Log in to WordPress without entering credentials
  • Manage plugins and themes
  • Apply updates
  • Perform security checks
