The Plesk File Manager allows you to manage your website files directly from the control panel without needing FTP or SSH access. It is useful for quick edits, uploads, folder creation, and basic file maintenance.

This guide walks you through the most common tasks so you can confidently manage your website files.

Opening File Manager and browsing files

To access File Manager and navigate through your website files:

Kopieren, moving, renaming, and deleting files

File Manager supports common file operations without downloading files locally.

Copying files

  1. Select the file or files.
  2. Klicken Kopie.
  3. Choose the destination folder.
  4. Klicken OK.

You can overwrite existing files by enabling the replace option.

Moving files

  1. Select the file or files.
  2. Klicken Move.
  3. Choose the destination folder.
  4. Klicken OK.

Renaming files

  1. Click the actions menu next to the file.

Deleting files
