The cPanel File Manager allows you to transfer files between your local computer and your hosting account directly from a web browser. It is designed for simple and quick file operations without requiring additional software.

When to use File Manager

File Manager is suitable for uploading or downloading a small number of files. For larger transfers or advanced features such as synchronization and resume support, using an FTP client is recommended. This applies to most environments running on cPanel hosting services.

  2. Öffnen Sie die Tools page.
  3. Im Dateien Abschnitt, klicken Dateimanager.
  4. Navigate to the directory where the file should be uploaded.

Practical considerations

For websites with frequent file changes or larger data sets, managing files through environments such as cloud servers or a VPS in Deutschland may provide better performance and flexibility compared to browser based file management.
