Autoresponders allow cPanel to send automatic email replies when messages are received. They are commonly used for out-of-office notices, automated information replies, or temporary notifications for specific mailboxes.

Accessing the Autoresponders section

Autoresponders are managed directly from the cPanel interface.

  1. Melden Sie sich in Ihrem CPANEL -Konto an.
  2. Öffnen Sie die Tools page.
  3. Im E-Mail Abschnitt, klicken Autoresponders.

Autoresponders are available on standard cPanel-Hosting Umgebungen.

Adding an autoresponder

You can configure multiple autoresponders, each with its own message, schedule, and mailbox.

  1. Klicken Add Autoresponder.
  2. Select the Zeichensatz for the message.
  3. Set the Intervall in hours to control how often replies are sent to the same sender.
  4. Enter the mailbox name in the E-Mail Feld.
  5. Select the associated Domain.
  6. Optionally define the Aus name or address.
  7. Enter the Thema of the automatic reply.
  8. Aktivieren This message contains HTML if the message includes HTML formatting.
  9. Enter the message content in the Körper Feld.
  10. Unter Start, choose Sofort or define a custom start time.
  11. Unter Stoppen, choose Never or define an end date.
  12. Klicken Create/Modify to activate the autoresponder.

Editing an autoresponder

Autoresponders can be updated at any time.

  1. Log in to cPanel and open Autoresponders.
  2. Locate the autoresponder under Current Autoresponders.
  3. Klicken Bearbeiten.
  4. Modify the required fields such as message body, subject, or schedule.
  5. Klicken Create/Modify to save changes.

Deleting or temporarily disabling an autoresponder

Autoresponders that are no longer required should be removed.

  1. Log in to cPanel and open Autoresponders.
  2. Locate the autoresponder.
  3. Klicken Löschen.
  4. Bestätigen Sie den Löschvorgang.

As an alternative to deletion, an autoresponder can be temporarily disabled by editing it and assigning it to a non-existent mailbox. This allows quick reactivation later.

Usage and scaling considerations

Autoresponders are suitable for basic automated replies. For higher email volumes, advanced routing, or improved deliverability, additional services such as SpamExperts or infrastructure like Cloud-Server may be more appropriate.
