Autoresponders allow cPanel to send automatic email replies when messages are received. They are commonly used for out-of-office notices, automated information replies, or temporary notifications for specific mailboxes.
Accessing the Autoresponders section
Autoresponders are managed directly from the cPanel interface.

Adding an autoresponder
You can configure multiple autoresponders, each with its own message, schedule, and mailbox.
- Klicken Add Autoresponder.
- Select the Character Set for the message.
- Set the Interval in hours to control how often replies are sent to the same sender.

Editing an autoresponder
Autoresponders can be updated at any time.
- Log in to cPanel and open Autoresponders.
- Locate the autoresponder under Current Autoresponders.
- Klicken Edit.
- Modify the required fields such as message body, subject, or schedule.
- Klicken Create/Modify to save changes.

Deleting or temporarily disabling an autoresponder
Autoresponders that are no longer required should be removed.
- Log in to cPanel and open Autoresponders.
- Locate the autoresponder.
- Klicken Löschen.

As an alternative to deletion, an autoresponder can be temporarily disabled by editing it and assigning it to a non-existent mailbox. This allows quick reactivation later.
Usage and scaling considerations
